What is your personal motto?

Treat others the way you want to be treated. Do I always live by it, no but I do believe it. And when I grow up I want to be an example of it. Until then bare with me, I'm a work in progress .lol

What's making you smile today?

The SUN, I have seen it a total of 10 days all spring and summer. It is amazing how much it truly affects my day and mood.

p.s. I live in the wrong state!!

What's the hardest part about the role you play in your family?

It is unending. As a mother of six (right now) who's husband works in the oil fields of Alaska, works 3 on 1 off currently. I NEVER get a second "off duty", I can't get sick, my work is never done and even as I drift off to sleep my prayers are many and my worries are greater still. The hardest and the most wonderful part............ Thank You God!

As I look out my french doors to the gravel pit, that is my yard, I have a dream.....................A  stone path off the back deck, leading to the fire pit. To the right a garden.....vegetables, herbs and a large raspberry and strawberry patch. On the right side of the house grass, alot of it. Enough for a great flag football game and crochet at the same time. And finally the half basketball court on the paved edge of my lovely circle drive.................that's what I daydream about.

What's the best thing about your mom?

She exposed me to many different people, music, foods, and experiences. She is fearless and I have a love of the world and all the diversity in it. I try to look at all cultures with curiosity and respect. Thanks Mom.
